Come and join our team. We are looking to recruit a caring, compassionate and motivated Night Care Worker to join our friendly residential care home team. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with an interest in care work who wants to make a positive difference to people’s lives.

About the Role

As a Night Care Worker, you will support our residents to feel safe, comfortable and well cared for throughout the night. You will work closely with colleagues to provide high-quality, person-centred care in a warm and homely environment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting residents with personal care, always maintaining dignity and respect
  • Assisting with moving and handling in a safe and supportive way
  • Helping with meal and drink preparation as required
  • Providing assistance with medication, in line with training and guidance
  • Supporting individuals living with dementia, offering reassurance and understanding
  • Encouraging participation in meaningful activities where appropriate
  • Working as part of a team, contributing to a positive and supportive environment
  • Following guidance and care plans, including direction from professionals such as GPs, physiotherapists and nurses

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Works well both independently and as part of a team
  • Is able to follow guidance and maintain high standards of care

Previous experience in care is welcome but not essential, as full support and training will be provided.
