Position
Come and join our team: Year 6 Class Teacher with Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR). We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher to join our team as a Year 6 Class Teacher with a responsibility for leading Years 3–6. This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful and supportive school, where Estyn inspectors have recognised the school’s happy, homely environment and praised the strong independence, confidence, and enthusiasm demonstrated by our pupils. The successful candidate will join the Leadership Team, supporting the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher to maintain our existing high standards while bringing innovative approaches to further enhance our provision.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality teaching for Years 3–6, adapting to diverse learner needs.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and support pupils to achieve the best outcomes.
- Support the Leadership Team, working with the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher to maintain high standards and bring innovative approaches.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Level 5 – Requirement to communicate fluently in Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
- An Enhanced with Barred List Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be requested.
