The Swansea Bay City Deal brings together four local authorities - Pembrokeshire, Swansea, Neath Port Talbot and Carmarthenshire to deliver major regional investment. The £30m Skills and Talent Programme aims to meet the region's future skills needs through a series of innovative pilot projects. We are seeking a Skills Development Project Assistant to help ensure high-quality delivery, compliance and impactful outcomes across the programme and its pilot projects.
Key Responsibilities
- The Skills Development Project Assistant will support the Project Manager to maintain contact with pilot projects supported through the Skills and Talent programme to record outputs and ensure that key milestones are met in line with the funding offer letters.
- The officer will liaise with project leads to gather information; record data and arrange meetings when necessary to bring all funded projects together.
- The post holder will also be responsible for updating the CRM system recording training delivery across the region to identify gaps in provision.
Level 2 - You will need a basic level of conversational Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
