Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Dining Room Assistant. Responsibilities include serving healthy nutritious meals to pupils, maintaining a clean and hygienic dining room area, setting up and clearing tables, performing general cleaning duties, and maintaining accurate records for pupils with food allergies and special dietary requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • The ability to build good relationships with adults and children based on mutual respect
  • Knowledge of basic food safety (advantage but not essential; full training will be provided)
  • Good communication and people skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
  • Flexibility and willingness to assist with other catering duties
  • Basic knowledge of Welsh (Level 1)
