We are looking for a self‑motivated and dedicated Catering Assistant to serve appetising meals while ensuring compliance with all aspects of Food Hygiene and Health and Safety. You will also be responsible for setting up and clearing tables, general cleaning duties, and supporting other catering tasks as required. Working hours are Monday to Thursday, 16 hours per week, part‑time (pro‑rated salary based on 37‑hour full‑time rate). The role is based in Ammanford, Carmarthenshire County Council, Grade A.

Key responsibilities:

  • Serve meals and maintain food hygiene standards.
  • Set up and remove dining tables.
  • Assist with cleaning and general support duties.

Required skills and qualities:

  • Basic knowledge of food safety (training provided).
