Delta Personnel is looking for an experienced Site Manager for a water sector civils project in Little Hallingbury, near Bishop’s Stortford. Start date: Monday 26 October 2026 Duration: Expected to run into the new year, with a break over Christmas. You will manage daily site activities and oversee a small team expected to include two excavator operators, a dumper groundworker and a groundworker covering traffic marshalling and banksman duties.At least one member of the site team must hold CAT & Genny training. Duties include: * Managing site operatives, plant and subcontractors. * Planning daily activities and working to the construction programme. * Ensuring RAMS, permits and site safety procedures are followed. * Carrying out site inductions, toolbox talks and daily briefings. * Monitoring workmanship and maintaining site records. * Coordinating deliveries and liaising with the project team and client. Requirements: * Previous Site Manager experience on civils projects, ideally within water or wastewater. * SMSTS. * Valid CSCS card. * First Aid. * Thames Water Safety Passport.
