Delta Personnel is searching for Lead Automation Engineers (Electrical Bias) for a major automated warehouse operation in Northampton. 48,048 basic salary + 21% shift premium (10,090) = realistic annual earnings around 58,000+.
Initially:
- 06:00 - 14:00
- 14:00 - 22:00
Then expected to transition into:
- 4 on / 4 off
- 2 days / 2 nights
- 12 hour shifts
This is a static site based role supporting a highly automated warehouse operation featuring robotics, AGVs, PLC systems and advanced warehouse automation equipment.
We are after electrically biased Lead Engineers with automation, controls and electrical maintenance experience. Mechanical knowledge and multi-skilled experience would be advantageous.
The role includes:
- Leading engineering teams on shift
- Electrical fault finding and maintenance on automation systems
- Supporting robotics, AGVs, conveyors and automated equipment
- Supporting operational uptime and engineering performance
- Managing engineering escalations and technical issues
- Working with PLC controlled systems
- Supporting health and safety
