Delta Personnel are working with an established and highly reputable brand manufacturer based in Sussex who are looking to recruit an experienced Class 1 Driver to deliver and collect products across the United Kingdom.

You’ll be expected to:

  • Follow all Health & Safety and Transport legislation, maintaining compliance in every aspect of operations.
  • Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly, ensuring vehicles remain roadworthy and compliant.
  • Prepare and submit accurate paperwork on time, supporting effective monitoring and record-keeping.
  • Report all incidents immediately and appropriately, enabling swift corrective action and compliance.
  • Download and submit Drivers’ Digital Tachograph data weekly, ensuring legal and company requirements are met.
  • Unload goods safely and efficiently, preserving product quality and minimising risk of damage.
  • Inspect product quality upon arrival and report discrepancies promptly, supporting quick resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Verify site access is safe and clear before unloading, addressing hazards to maintain safety standards.
  • Capture and submit photographic evidence of wrapped goods and completed deliveries, ensuring accountability and traceability.

You’ll have a CPC Licence, no more than 3 points, previous HGV driving experience and be physically fit to load and unload products. This is a customer-facing role where you’ll be required to represent the company professionally in all interactions to meet customer expectations and foster strong customer relationships and encourage repeat business, so good communication skills and a presentable appearance are essential. A CSCS card is required – pre or post offer. This role requires overnight stays with an allowance and overtime available.
