Delta Personnel is searching for Depot Driver Support. We’re looking for a reliable Driver to support our clients depot operations. This is a hands-on role combining driving duties with yard, stores and equipment support. This role is 30 hours per week and can be temporary to permanent or long-term temporary.
Duties:
- Delivery and collect materials and equipment to and from sites
- Tow plant and equipment where required and secure loads safely
- Load and unload equipment safely and correctly
- Liaise with site teams to manage deliveries and expectations
- Plan routes efficiently while maintaining safety and compliance
- Support depot operations including yard and stores duties
- Assist with basic fleet tasks such as vehicle movements, checks and reporting damage
- Help maintain a clean, tidy and safe yard and storage area
- Assist with stock checks and equipment organisation
Must-Have/Be:
- Full UK driving licence
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Able to work independently and use initiative
- Reliable, organised and safety conscious
- Good communication skills and able to deal with site teams and suppliers
- Basic understanding of health and safety
Desirable but not essential:
- Forklift/telehandler
- Stores experience
- Knowledge of COSHH
