Delta Personnel is searching for Grounds Maintenance Operatives in Chichester. We're looking for switched-on Grounds Maintenance Operatives to support our client on highways maintenance projects across Chichester and the surrounding areas.
Duties:
- Strimming grass verges and cutting back overgrowth
- Walking set routes and maintaining roadside visibility
- Operating petrol-powered equipment (strimmers, blowers, etc.)
- Litter picking and keeping public highways clean and clear
- Working in line with health & safety protocols
- Supporting data capture projects where needed
Must-Have:
- UK Driving Licence (essential β no public transport nearby)
- Full PPE (full orange or yellow including safety glasses and helmet)
- Physically fit and happy to walk long distances
- Previous highways or grounds maintenance experience preferred
- "Can-do" attitude and willingness to graft
Hours: Monday β Friday, 7:30am β 5:00pm (approx.) Start ASAP β Temp-to-perm opportunity for the right people.
