We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Part‑Time Administrator (5 days per week Monday to Friday) to join our team on a permanent basis. This role provides essential administrative and operational support across the organisation, including HR, departmental managers, and front‑of‑house functions. The successful candidate will demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and the ability to manage a varied workload in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • General Administration – filing, typing, copying, scanning, and document management
  • Reception & Switchboard – managing incoming calls and greeting visitors
  • Information Management – collating data from multiple sites and sources
  • Project Support – assisting departmental managers with ongoing initiatives
  • HR Administrative Support – maintaining HR systems, supporting recruitment, and updating training platforms
  • Office Coordination – ordering supplies, maintaining communal areas, supporting VIP visits
  • Travel & Logistics – booking hotels and flights, supporting overseas staff during UK visits
  • Compliance & Safety – maintaining the COSHH register and taking minutes at quarterly H&S meetings
  • Cross‑Departmental Support – providing assistance to all departments as required

  • Demonstrating initiative, organisation, and a proactive approach to changing business needs
  • Maintaining confidentiality of personal and company information
  • Ensuring administrative processes and systems remain accurate and up to date

Candidate Requirements

Must Have

  • Strong computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • A proactive, self‑motivated approach with the ability to work independently
  • Confident communication skills and professional demeanour
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • High levels of commitment, enthusiasm, and flexibility
  • Integrity and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately

Should Have

  • Attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Previous office‑based experience (manufacturing sector advantageous)
  • Previously used Breathe HR (advantageous)
  • Strong customer service skills
