Role Overview
The Lead Electronics Engineer will oversee and advance the Electronics Engineering function at Delta-Mobrey. This role involves technical leadership, hands-on design, and strategic development within the department, reporting directly to the Engineering Manager.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
- Design of analogue and digital electronic systems
- Circuit and PCB layout and development
- Embedded software programming, particularly in C
- Project management of engineering initiatives
- Obsolescence planning and component lifecycle management
- Application and understanding of ultrasonic technologies
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- MSc in Electronics or Electrical Engineering
- Proven experience in electronics design within sectors such as Defence, Aerospace, Medical, Industrial, or Automotive
Preferred Skills & Attributes
- Successful track record in delivering engineering projects
- Experience in leading or coordinating small teams
- Proficiency in both hardware and software development
Desirable (Nice-to-Have) Experience
- Familiarity with industrial instrumentation and sensor technologies
- Understanding of metrology principles
- Knowledge of SIL (Safety Integrity Level) standards
- Experience in electro-mechanical design
- Exposure to functional safety protocols
- Programming skills in VBA, LabView, or other PC-based environments
- Proficiency with Altium Designer
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Likely to have 5–10 years’ experience in a relevant industry
Training Provided
- Product-specific training
- Instruction in Delta-Mobrey’s processes and procedures
