The predicted salary is between 50000 - 55000 £ per year.
This position is responsible for driving the growth and development of the Electronics Engineering function at Delta-Mobrey’s Camberley site. The role encompasses:
- Design of analogue and digital electronic systems
- Circuit and PCB layout and development
- Software and firmware programming
- Management of engineering projects
- Oversight of component lifecycle and obsolescence
Key Deliverables
- Strengthening the capabilities of the electronics engineering team
- Introducing and integrating emerging technologies (e.g. Industrial Internet of Things – IIoT)
Candidate Requirements
Must have:
- A higher national certificate with experience in Electronic Engineering
- The ability to design, develop, electronic circuits, devices and systems
- Knowledge to support procurement with obsolescence management
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Should have:
- Experience in delivering engineering projects
- Experience in conducting electrical safety tests (LVD, EMC, etc.)
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and configuration control
- Knowledge of electronics design software packages (e.g. Altium)
- Electro-mechanical design experience
- British citizenship
Could have:
- HND or Degree in Electronics Engineering
- Experience with industrial instrumentation and sensors
- Experience of SIL requirements and intrinsically safe design
- Experience in product development in highly regulated industries
- Experience with PCB layout and design
Ideal candidate is likely to have:
- Worked in highly regulated industries and have experience in functional safety and ATEX.
Training will be given on the Delta-Mobrey products and Delta-Mobrey Processes and Procedures.
Salary
Up to £55k depending on experience
