We are looking for a People Transformation Lead to lead the People and Organisational transformation elements required to successfully integrate CHP and Estuary into Delta, working in close partnership with the Director of HR and wider HR team.
The role is responsible for ensuring that all transformation activity considers and delivers a positive, coherent and sustainable colleague experience, spanning organisational design, restructures, cultural integration and the people impacts of all change initiatives. This role will play a key part in embedding people-focused thinking across the programme, ensuring that transformation is delivered in a way that supports colleagues, builds capability and enables the organisation to achieve its long-term strategic ambitions.
What you'll be doing:
- Work in close partnership with the Director of HR and other senior leaders to align and oversee all people-related aspects of the integration and transformation programmes.
- Lead the development and delivery of a People Transformation approach, ensuring alignment with the overall integration plan and long-term organisational strategy.
- Ensure the people impacts of all integration and transformation initiatives (including systems, processes and service changes) are identified, assessed and managed effectively.
- Oversee and coordinate organisational design, restructures and workforce alignment, ensuring these are delivered in a structured, fair and consistent way.
- Collaborate with other Transformation team colleagues to ensure that the colleague experience is embedded across all workstreams.
- Provide input into operational and technical projects (e.g. system integration, process redesign) to ensure people, roles, skills and ways of working are fully considered.
What we are looking for:
- Relevant professional qualification in HR or organisational development (e.g. CIPD) or equivalent demonstrable experience.
- Proven experience leading people transformation, organisational design and workforce change, ideally within large-scale transformation programmes or mergers in the housing or public sector.
- Strong understanding of organisational design, restructures, workforce planning and cultural integration, including experience working alongside HR teams to deliver these at scale.
- Experience of assessing and managing the people impacts of transformation initiatives, including system implementations, service redesign and process change.
- Strong understanding of change management methodologies and frameworks (e.g. Prosci, ADKAR), with the ability to apply these in a practical, delivery-focused environment.
Please note the office expectancy of this role is as follows: This role is a hybrid working role, and expected in the office a minimum of 1 day a week to facilitate workshops and work closely with stakeholders.
