We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious
Junior Sous Chef to support our Executive Chef, and Executive Sous Chef in the day-to-day operation of our kitchen.
The Impact You'll Make
As Junior Sous Chef, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth running of kitchen operations, maintaining high food quality standards, and delivering an exceptional guest experience.
You will lead by example, support and develop junior team members, and continue to grow your own culinary and leadership skills within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Executive Chef & Executive Sous Chef in the daily management of kitchen operations.
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes to agreed recipes and standards.
- Ensure food is presented consistently and to the highest quality.
- Monitor food preparation, portion control, and cooking temperatures.
- Maintain excellent standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and health and safety.
- Assist in training, supporting, and mentoring Commis Chefs and junior kitchen team members.
- Contribute ideas and creativity to menu development and food presentation.
- Work closely with colleagues across the kitchen and hotel to provide an exceptional guest experience.

- Previous experience as a Junior Sous Chef, or Senior Chef de Partie within a hotel, restaurant, or quality hospitality environment.

Hours
