Fitness Instructor
Are you passionate about health, fitness, and delivering exceptional guest experiences? We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Level 2 or Level 3 Fitness Instructor to join our Country Club Leisure team.
Working within our hotel leisure club, you will play a key role in supporting members and guests to achieve their fitness goals, delivering excellent customer service, and creating a welcoming and professional environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Provide general club orientation to guests upon arrival, such as the location and use of locker rooms, gym and pool
- Welcome and acknowledge each guest and member with a smile, eye contact and a friendly welcome, using their name when possible
- Carry out regular Health & Safety checks, pool testing, sauna and steam room checks
- Carry out pool testing & back washing of the pool if required
- Process new members sign ups
- Maintain cleanliness of workstation, gym, locker rooms, poolside, sauna and steam room
- Carry out gym induction, programme reviews and support members to achieve their fitness goals
- Carry out fitness classes
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager, support with first aid if required
- Monitor the pool area and ensure users are safe and adhering to rules
- Anticipate and address guests’ service needs
What We're Looking For
- Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification as a minimum.
- Level 3 Personal Training qualification desirable but not essential.
- A passion for fitness, health, and wellbeing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, professional, and approachable manner.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience within a leisure club, gym, hotel, or health club environment preferred.

Hours: With this role you’ll be working 24 hours per week over 3 days, including a mixture of weekdays & weekends.
