We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking

Greenkeeping Apprentice to join our team at Delta Hotel By Marriott Tudor Park Country Club.

This is an exciting opportunity to learn the skills required to maintain a high-quality golf course while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

As part of our Grounds Team, you will help ensure our golf course and surrounding resort grounds are presented to the highest standards for members, guests, hotel visitors, and golf societies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the maintenance and preparation of the golf course, including greens, tees, fairways, and bunkers.
  • Operate and maintain a range of turf management equipment under supervision.
  • Carry out mowing, strimming, edging, and general landscaping duties.
  • Support course set-up for daily play and tournaments.
  • Assist with irrigation, drainage, and turf care programmes.
  • Maintain a safe and tidy working environment.
  • Learn and follow all health and safety procedures.
  • Work closely with the Head Greenkeeper and wider grounds team to develop practical greenkeeping skills.

What We're Looking For

  • A genuine interest in golf, horticulture, landscaping, or grounds maintenance.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths are desirable but not essential.

Hours
