We have an exciting opportunity for a Multi Property Hotel Sales Manager to join the teams at the Delta Hotels By Marriott Huntingdon & Delta Hotels by Marriott Peterborough.
The Role:
As Multi Property Hotel Sales Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining and building strong relationships with our key clients, be accountable for proactively soliciting and managing special corporate accounts, group and catering-related opportunities along with total account management of the existing account portfolio. Your focus is to build long term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of hotel sales budgets to promote brand loyalty and increase market share.
This role will ideally be based at Delta Hotels by Marriott Huntingdon 3 days per week and Delta Hotels by Marriott Peterborough 2 days per week or as business needs require.
You will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Activities include sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, etc.
- Develops relationships within the community to strengthen and expand customer base for sales opportunities.
- Manages and develops relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Provides accurate, complete and effective turnover to Event Management.
- Identifies new business to achieve personal and location revenue goals.
- Understands the overall market - competitors strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and knows how to sell against them.
- Ensures that the Senior Event Manager and their team are working effectively and efficiently to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Assists other departments wherever necessary and maintains good working relationships within the whole hotel.
- Complies with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation.

This role offers an annual salary as well as an annual bonus plan allowing you to earn up to 20% of your salary.
