We are currently looking for a Property Maintenance Manager to lead our Maintenance team here at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Waltham Abbey.

Responsibilities:
- Managing all engineering/maintenance operations, including maintaining the building, grounds and physical plant with particular attention towards safety, security and asset protection.
- Supervise the daily operations of the maintenance team
- Training and developing the maintenance team
- Establish and manage an effective rooms maintenance program
- Manage the department budget and purchasing of new equipment and supplies
- Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of the facilities in order to determine the type of work required
- Maintain accurate logs and records
- Planning, scheduling and evaluating preventative maintenance programs
- Handle guest complaints and problems effectively
- Communicate and work with all departments in the hotel
- Maintain regulatory requirements
- Working with contractors and supervising their work on property
- Lead the emergency response team for all facility issues
Safety And Company Policies:
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
- Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to the manager
- Complete safety training and certifications
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
- Communicate with others using clear and professional language
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
- Support the team to reach common goals
- Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
