We are currently looking for a hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our team on a casual basis. This is a great opportunity to learn how a kitchen operates from the ground up. We are looking for candidates who enjoy the pace and variety of a professional kitchen, want to learn new skills and build a career in hospitality, and want to join a friendly dedicated and supportive team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including the dish washing machine, hand wash stations, pot-wash station, and rubbish compactor.
- Wash and disinfect kitchen and store room areas, tables, knives, and equipment.
- Receive deliveries, store perishables properly and rotate stock.
- Clean and mop all areas in assigned departments.
