Role Overview

As a Casual Kitchen Porter, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen. You’ll support chefs and kitchen staff by ensuring equipment, crockery, and workspaces are clean and ready for service. This is a hands-on role that requires energy, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash and store pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, and kitchen equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including floors, surfaces, and bins
• Ensure hygiene and safety standards are upheld at all times
• Support chefs and kitchen staff during busy service periods
• Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly
• Follow company policies and procedures, including uniform and appearance standards

Experience

• Previous experience in a kitchen or cleaning role is desirable but not essential
• Full training will be provided
