With this role you will be working
16 hours per week over 2 days, predominately Monday – Friday.
However there maybe weekends, or emergency callouts.

What you\’ll be doing

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
Painter and Decorator
to join our hotel\’s maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appearance of the hotel through high-quality painting, decorating, and minor repair work. You will play a key role in ensuring that all guest-facing and back-of-house areas are maintained to the highest standards of presentation and cleanliness.

What we\’re looking for:
Essential
Proven experience as a professional painter and decorator, preferably in a hospitality or commercial environment showing strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality finishes. Able to work both independently and as part of the maintenance team. The role does involve working at heights and lifting and handling heavy materials.
Desirable
- A formal qualification in painting/decorating or a related trade with previous experience in a hotel or customer-facing environment. Also, a basic knowledge of other trades (e.g., plastering, tiling, carpentry) is an advantage.
