The Role:
As Hotel Sales Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining and building strong relationships with our key clients,be accountable for proactively soliciting and managing special corporate accounts, group and catering-related opportunities along with total account management of the existing account portfolio. Your focus is to build long term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of hotel sales budgets to promote brand loyalty and increase market share.
You will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Activities include sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, etc.
- Develops relationships within the community to strengthen and expand customer base for sales opportunities.
- Manages and develops relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Provides accurate, complete and effective turnover to Event Management.
- Identifies new business to achieve personal and location revenue goals.
- Understands the overall market – competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and knows how to sell against them.
- Ensures that the Senior Event Manager and their team are working effectively and efficiently to deliver and exceptional customer experience
- Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships within the whole hotel
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation

You will have a proven track record in a similar role within a hotel environment. Experience in coaching and developing team members, driving sales and delivering financial results. You will have a warm people orientated demeanour, a gift for paying attention to the smallest details and a positive outlook and outgoing personality.
