We have an exciting opportunity in our Engineering Team as a Maintenance Technician. You will be part of the Marriott family offering outstanding service to our guests and associates.
Responsibilities- Carry out general maintenance around the hotel including plumbing, electrical, painting, mechanical and general hotel repairs.
- Communicate with all departments and managers regarding any maintenance and repair jobs and actions required.
- Prioritise work schedules in relation to customer needs.
- Follow company and department safety and security policies and procedures to ensure a clean, safe and secure environment.
- Resolve maintenance issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Follow Brand Standards in all aspects of the job role.
We look for strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing) and the ability to work alone and within a team environment. You will be innovative, pro-active and reliable. Previous experience working within a hotel would be desirable.
