We have an exciting opportunity to join us as our MaintenanceManager. In this key role, you will take responsibility for the effectivemanagement of all engineering and maintenance operations across our hotel, ensuring it is maintained to the highest standards.
The Role
You will be:
- Leading and managing engineeringand maintenance operations across our hotel
- Ensuring compliance withhealth and safety and fire legislation, legal and brand standards
- Driving sustainabilityand energy efficiency initiatives
- Managing maintenancecontracts and overseeing preventive maintenance and reporting
- Carrying out regularproperty inspections, identifying maintenance requirements and ensuring anyissues are addressed promptly
- Providing hands-ontechnical support when required, taking a proactive approach to resolvingmaintenance issues
- Workingcollaboratively with other departments to minimise disruption to our guests andensuring the smooth running of the operation
What do you need toapply?
We are looking for anexperienced Maintenance Manager with in-depth knowledge of MEP (Mechanical,Electrical and Plumbing), building fabric, plant equipment and general buildingmaintenance. You will have previous experience managing maintenance operations,ideally within a hotel or hospitality environment, together with having astrong understanding of health and safety legislation, fire safety and buildingregulations. You will have excellent organisational, planning andproblem-solving skills alongside having a proactive, solutions-focused approach. Above all, you will take pride in maintaininghigh standards, ensuring that all maintenance activities, repairs and improvements are carried out with the guest experience central to everything you do.
