Job Description:
- Our client, a European bank, is seeking an experienced Senior Private Banker to focus on covering Bulgarian clients (as well as other Balkan markets), to join their team in Sofia, Bulgaria
- This role is focused on growing a portfolio of high-net-worth (HNWI) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNWI) individuals. The successful candidate will leverage a comprehensive suite of private banking and wealth management products, including lending, to deliver bespoke financial strategies aligned with client objectives
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a diverse portfolio of Bulgarian (and other Balkan) HNWI/UHNWI clients, ensuring tailored wealth management solutions that meet their financial goals
- Identify and cultivate new client relationships within the market, demonstrating expertise in client acquisition and relationship building
- Provide personalized strategies, leveraging the bank’s products and services including lending
- Act as a subject matter expert on the Bulgarian and the Balkans markets, ensuring deep cultural and financial knowledge to deliver exceptional client service
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in private banking, wealth management, or a related field, with a proven track record of managing HNWI/UHNWI clients
- Demonstrated success in client acquisition and portfolio growth within the Bulgarian market
- Candidates should have an existing transferable book of Bulgarian and/or Balkans U/HNW clients
- Strong understanding of financial products and services, including lending and wealth management solutions
