Our client, a leading investment manager in the GCC, is seeking to hire a Director to build and lead its education investments vertical. This is a unique opportunity to establish and scale a new investment strategy, focusing on education platforms globally.
The role will work closely with senior leadership and investment professionals across the full investment lifecycle, including origination, strategy development, execution, due diligence, financial analysis, and ongoing portfolio management. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the firm’s approach to education investments, identifying thematic opportunities, and driving value creation across the portfolio.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 10–15 years of professional experience within a top-tier private equity firm, investment bank, or relevant investment platform, with meaningful exposure to the education sector.
- Proven track record of sourcing, executing, and managing investments, including leading transactions across the full deal lifecycle (origination, due diligence, valuation, execution, and portfolio management).
- Deep understanding of global education markets, including key trends, business models, and value drivers across sub-sectors.
- Strong leadership capabilities, with experience building or scaling investment strategies or verticals within an institutional environment.
- Excellent financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills, combined with strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
