Our client, a GCC family office, is seeking an associate to join its global real estate investment team in London. This role offers the opportunity to work in a lean, entrepreneurial environment within a highly capable team managing a multi-billion-dollar portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support evaluation of potential real estate investments, including market research, financial analysis, and risk assessment.
- Create and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate investment opportunities and forecast performance.
- Analyse market conditions, comparable properties, and review data from site visits to support investment decisions.
- Provide support for real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financing.
- Assist in the ongoing management of real estate assets, including monitoring performance, preparing reports, and liaising with property managers.
- Develop and implement strategies for portfolio real estate companies; assist with and lead project management initiatives to increase shareholder value.
- Over time, manage relationships directly with property managers and report to the Real Estate team, providing updates and recommendations for upcoming initiatives and projects.
Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of experience in a real estate investment fund or top tier investment bank.
- Highly analytical approach, with prior experience in real estate modelling and evaluation.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and analysis purposes is essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- French fluency or other European languages are an advantage.
- Strong academic credentials – bachelor’s degree required.
