The predicted salary is between 45000 - 55000 € per year.
Overseeing the planning, execution, and safety of product and system installations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. This position reports to the Technical Services Manager and has no direct reports.
Responsibilities:
- Transfer of ownership of Installation Projects from account manager in respect of service delivery.
- Manage and deliver projects on time, within budget, to quality standards and customer satisfaction.
- Project Planning: Create and maintain comprehensive, full-scale project plans using tools like Microsoft Project or similar.
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients, facilitate regular status meetings and distribute clear performance reports while resolving issues.
- Managing installation teams/subcontractors and resolving technical issues.
- Ensuring full compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments, and delivering toolbox talks.
- Interpreting technical drawings, plans, and specifications to guide installation.
- Conducting site surveys with customers and installation partners.
- Creation of installation quotations.
- Realisation and co-ordination of method statements and completion of risk assessments.
- Protection of company margin by cost-effective resource management.
- Responsible for the effective implementation and compliance of the health and safety policy and associated guidance and process documents to ensure the safety of employees and that of others.
- Manage day-to-day client communication, managing the customer's expectations.
- Planning and scheduling project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Effective communication of project expectations to team members and stakeholders.
- Facilitation of both team and client meetings.
Qualifications:
- H-Tech Level Qualification or equivalent in Electrical Installation and/or Project Management.
Additional Information:
Experience required:
- Experience from a similar position, ideally within a power manufacturer, electrical, or construction role, proven experience successfully delivering complex, multitrack projects and with supervisory experience.
Technical/Professional skills:
- Sound knowledge and experience of the power supply industry and/or electrical/electronic products.
- In-depth knowledge of Delta’s product range and associated technologies, applications, and installation.
- Ability to negotiate and deal with customers, external contractors, and suppliers.
- Proven track record of commercial and contractual understanding.
- Eye for detail and ability to work to tight timescales.
- Understanding of current health and safety legislation.
- Understanding of national rules and regulations.
- Qualification and/or sound knowledge of BS7671 18th Edition an advantage.
- Proven leadership skills, able to demonstrate the ability to lead a diverse team including achievement of targets.
- Ability to resolve on-site issues and manage risks effectively.
- Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Can conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to react to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
