The Sales Manager for Telecom Data Centre is responsible for executing sales strategies and development within the area of responsibility (UK and Ireland). The role includes budget management for the assigned geographic area.
Responsibilities- Business development and growth within the Telecom, Data Centre and AC UPS segments.
- Identify key target customers and new business opportunities within Telecom, Data Centre and Edge Computing.
- Accountable for achieving annual performance goals and growth.
- Prepare and follow up annual revenue, including reporting and forecasting.
- Manage customer visits and related affairs.
- Execute sales strategies, profit targets, tactics and sales plans.
- Develop and build strong long-term business relationships.
- Maintain business relationships with existing customers.
- Identify new sales opportunities and business partnerships.
- Manage and grow allocated accounts.
- Direct client interactions, presentations and market activities at conferences and exhibitions.
- Maintain CRM database and business reports.
- Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Sales Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Background in electronics or similar.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in power supply, telecom or data centre environments.
- Knowledge of DC Power and AC UPS is an advantage.
- Strong technical and B2B sales/business development experience.
- Customer-focused with strong relationship-building skills.
- Good planning, organisation and time management.
- Solid negotiation and communication skills.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems.
- Well-organised, proactive and team-oriented.
- Ability to solve problems and work independently.
