Responsibilities include:

  • Keeping abreast of Environmental Management Bureau’s requirements and client pollution control standards.
  • Ensuring safety in the area of influence.
  • Attending to necessary government permits (EMB) before operating facilities.
  • Ensuring compliance of Pollution Control Facilities with government standards.
  • Timely submission of Quarterly Self-Monitoring Reports to EMB.
  • Acting as liaison to EMB, clients, and other pollution regulatory bodies including local government offices.
  • Participating in pollution control officer meetings called by EMB.
  • Monitoring generation and disposal of used oil, batteries, and hazardous waste.
  • Keeping records of hazardous waste disposal, manifest forms, and related documents.
  • Handling other environmental concerns as required by clients and government agencies.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Graduate of any Engineering course, preferably Mining and/or Environmental Science.
  • Accredited PCO by EMB.
