Job Summary: We are building a modern cloud platform that integrates AWS serverless APIs, containerized firmware emulation running in EKS, and intelligent orchestration workflows. While the backend teams handle large-scale cloud services and device simulation, we need a dedicated frontend developer to turn this complex system into a clean, intuitive, and powerful user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Build interfaces that interact with backend APIs powering AWS Lambdas, EKS firmware emulation, and orchestration workflows.
- Implement clean and maintainable front-end logic, state management, and component patterns.
- Create dashboards, configuration views, workflow visualizations, and real-time status components.
- Collaborate with designers and product teams to deliver UI that is clear, intuitive, and visually consistent.
- Work closely with backend engineers to define API usage and ensure smooth front-end integration.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to UI documentation, and help improve team front-end practices.
- Write basic unit and integration tests for React components.
- Assist in improving usability, performance, and overall UI/UX quality.
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- 0–2 years of professional UI/Frontend development experience.
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
- Experience with component composition and reusable UI patterns.
- Familiarity with state management tools (Context, hooks, or libraries like Zustand/Redux).
- Basic understanding of calling REST APIs from React applications.
- Comfort working with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Strong attention to detail and interest in UI quality and user experience.
- Willingness to learn from senior developers and grow your technical depth.
Assets:
- Experience with TypeScript (even partial exposure is a plus).
- Familiarity with UI testing (Jest, Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright).
- Exposure to design systems or component libraries.
- Experience with build tools (Vite, Webpack) and modern CI workflows.
- Understanding of cloud concepts or backend technologies (AWS, APIs, containers).
- No prior AI or AWS experience? Candidates eager to learn will be supported and gain hands‐on exposure in production.
Work Location: Hybrid (In-office 3 days per week, subject to change)

Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $85,000 - $100,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target payable for the base salary of new hires across all Canadian locations. Actual compensation may vary outside this range and is dependent on various factors.
