Job Summary
Delta Intelligent Building Technologies (Canada) Inc. is seeking a motivated and dependable Junior Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day upkeep and maintenance of our buildings and property. This is an entry-level position ideal for someone looking to begin a career in facilities maintenance. You will assist with basic maintenance tasks, learn how to troubleshoot building systems, and gain hands-on experience working in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with regular inspections and basic maintenance of building systems (such as HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and fire protection).
- Support the team in identifying and addressing minor issues with building equipment and infrastructure.
- Help with general cleaning and upkeep of common areas, restrooms, and outdoor spaces.
- Assist in keeping outdoor walkways safe and clear, including snow removal and de-icing.
- Participate in routine safety checks and ensure proper procedures are followed.
- Be available to support in emergency situations (e.g., power outages, leaks, etc.) under supervision.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks and inspections.
- Help coordinate with contractors or vendors when necessary.
- Communicate clearly with staff and tenants about ongoing maintenance activities.
- Stay informed about basic safety practices and workplace procedures.
- Use a digital ticketing system to track assigned tasks.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Some experience (including internships or hands-on training) in maintenance, trades, or building services would be an asset.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior team members.
- Basic understanding of tools and equipment used in building maintenance.
- Good problem-solving and time-management skills.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

Salary: $20.82 to $23.85/hour
This range reflects the minimum and maximum target payable for the base salary of new hires across all Canadian locations. Actual compensation may vary outside this range and is dependent on various factors.
