Delta Consultants is working with a client leading the way in In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) innovation who offer advanced Point-of-Care Testing devices for both human and veterinary markets. Currently we are seeking an Account Manager to focus on expanding their Biochemistry portfolio in the North and Midlands.
Role Requirements
- Develop and drive sales in both human and veterinary markets, expanding IVD business into hospital and non-hospital sectors.
- This is a business development role more than account management.
- Provide expert clinical and technical support across all IVD product areas.
- Conduct product demonstrations and oversee customer installations.
- Collaborate with the IVD Business Manager on budgeting, sales forecasting, and strategic marketing initiatives.
- Support new product launches and identify new business opportunities.
- Work closely with internal teams to address customer orders, queries, and complaints efficiently.
Person Specifications
- Proven experience in sales within the IVD sector.
- Strong clinical and technical knowledge of IVD, or a background in life sciences, academic or lab environments.
