Field Service Engineer - Analytical Laboratory Instruments - Southern England - £42k To£48k
Experienced Field Service Engineer required by analytical instrumentation servicing organisation who are based in Kent. It would be advantageous if you lived South of Birmingham in a central area but there is a level of flex on this. Ideally you will live close to a major road network.

This role is for an experienced Field Service Engineer with a proven track record in field based service engineering of laboratory instrumentation such as HPLC/GC/GCMS/lab gas generators. You will be installing, maintaining, validating and repairing equipment across the UK, with some travel to the Nordics and Western Europe.
Customers include major pharmaceutical/petrochemical/food & flavour companies.
Occasional trips abroad are required for this interesting role.
It is essential that you are flexible and able to travel and stay away from home three or four nights a month.

The main criteria are good fault finding skills with knowledge of lab based gas generators and scientific instruments.
Ideally with experience in the pharmaceutical industry or hospital pathology laboratories, in particular dissolution testing, HPLC & GC equipment.
