Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the hospitality sector, particularly in hotel environments, and possess a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are welcoming and well-presented for guests and staff alike.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Dust, vacuum, and mop floors; clean windows, mirrors, and surfaces; and sanitise bathrooms.
- Replace linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good working order.
- Do laundry and tidy up
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with janitorial practices and cleaning products is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
