We are looking for an experienced Sales executive to lead the Account & Sales Team within our Consulting business line. You will work directly with clients, prospects, and stakeholders across the financial services market, selling consulting services in areas such as transformation, risk & regulation, data, technology, and AI. The role includes refining, implementing, and driving a sales strategy that covers Change & Transformation, Risk & Regulation, and Data, Tech & AI consulting offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, manage and close new business opportunities within UK accounts.
  • Identify market opportunities through meetings, networking, and other channels.
  • Assess opportunities to expand support to existing clients.
  • Understand each customer’s business objectives, challenges, and issues, and present Delta Capita’s offerings that meet these objectives.
  • Be familiar with the key consulting business offerings to conduct initial conversations before introducing subject‑matter experts.
  • Document and manage dynamic account plans, including white space and competitive replacement strategies.
  • Internal stakeholder management, ensuring effective communication and coordination across all levels of seniority.
  • Work with the wider management team to develop a business plan and go‑to‑market/demand management initiatives.
  • Develop a 12‑to‑24‑month pipeline of qualified incremental business opportunities.

Required Experience

  • Extensive experience in sales and managing client relationships.
  • Proven ability to gain new logos and strong new‑business development background.
  • Experience working in or with financial institutions, focusing on one of the consulting practice areas.
  • Experience working for or closely with service providers to financial services customers.
  • Knowledge of the sales lifecycle, including RFPs, contracts, proposals, and pricing.
  • Knowledge of key sales disciplines and tooling such as Salesforce and partner leverage.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple sales cycles.
  • Proven ability to manage net new business as well as develop existing opportunities.
  • Interest, market opinion and understanding of the financial industry sector, including market dynamics and competitive landscape.

  • Commercially driven experience and demonstrable results.
  • Self‑managed – energetic, flexible, and capable of operating remotely.
  • Responsive to customer business needs with a clear focus on maintaining excellent customer service.
  • Accurate reporting skills, presentation skills, and attention to detail.

  • Relevant experience in one of our core consulting practices: transformation, risk & regulation, data, tech & AI consulting, particularly with financial and banking institutions.

Location & Working Arrangements

This position is located in London and operates under a hybrid work policy, with an expectation to be based in the London office and meet clients on a regular basis. A valid work authorisation for the UK is mandatory.
