The priority is practical delivery experience. Candidates must be able to hit the ground running, operate with limited ramp-up time, and contribute immediately to high-profile payments programmes.
Key Responsibilities

- Lead or support Current Account Switching Service initiatives, including the implementation of CASS for a banking institution.
- Translate business needs into clear delivery plans, business requirements, functional specifications, process models, test scenarios, and implementation artefacts.
- Ensure delivery approaches reflect relevant payment scheme requirements, operational impacts, controls, and customer outcomes.
- Work confidently across UK domestic payment schemes, including Faster Payments Service — FPS, CHAPS, and Bacs, as well as SEPA and international payments.
- Apply knowledge of ISO 20022 messaging standards to support requirements definition, impact assessment, testing, and implementation planning.
- Identify delivery risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies, escalating where required with clear options and recommendations.
Required Skills and Experience
