We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Loans & Fund Operations Associate to join a high-performing Operations function within a leading global institution. The successful candidate will support the full lifecycle of loan and fund transactions, working across lending, fund finance, and private wealth mandates. This is an excellent opportunity for an operationally focused professional to gain broad exposure across asset classes within a Tier 1 environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage end-to-end operational workflows for loan transactions, reconciling and validating loan and fund data across systems, identifying and resolving breaks on a timely basis.
- Support operational processes relating to fund finance facilities, NAV lending, and subscription credit lines where applicable.
- Assist with settlement, reconciliation, and lifecycle management for private wealth and managed account mandates.
- Review and interpret credit agreements, fee letters, and ancillary documentation to determine and execute operational requirements.
- Liaise with fund administrators, prime brokerage, and custody teams to resolve operational queries and ensure accurate position management.
- Maintain accurate records and support reporting obligations across fund and private wealth platforms.
- Set up and maintain facilities, tranches, and borrower records across systems.
- Coordinate funding instructions, drawdown mechanics, interest rate settings, and payment scheduling.
- Liaise with front office, legal counsel, agency teams, and external counterparties to ensure accurate and timely transaction execution.
- Support post-closing processes including amendments, waivers, rollovers, and restructurings.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, regulatory requirements, and market standards across all transaction types.
- Contribute to operational risk identification and process improvement initiatives.
- Prepare and maintain accurate operational records, supporting internal and external audit and reporting requirements.
Requirements
- 3–6 years' experience in an Operations or Middle Office role within financial services.
- Strong analytical capability with meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with front office and senior stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously under time pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of loan lifecycle events, fund operational workflows, or private wealth account management.
