We are looking for a Junior Business Operations Manager to join our Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) team in London. This is a great opportunity and an exciting time to join our expanding business within our CLM department, working with some of the world’s leading financial institutions. We are looking to automate processes leveraging AI, and the preferred candidate will demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit with a hands-on, pragmatic, and flexible approach as we develop this growing business area. Working in the central CLM function, you will be at the heart of the business, and this role offers excellent growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Management
- Lead and assist in weekly/monthly global calls and provide updates, ensuring data accuracy in Salesforce and Kantata in relation to resourcing, pipeline management, revenue, and cost.
- Support the CLM business in managing prospective opportunities through to operational engagements.
- Actively follow up with management and the sales team on renewals, new opportunities, and backfills.
- Data & Reporting
- Maintain and update the Salesforce and Kantata platform to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Design and implement reporting tools and dashboards to provide actionable insights on resource allocation, project progress, and operational efficiency.
- Provide weekly recruitment, resourcing, and business management reports to management.
- Analyse data trends to identify areas for process optimisation and provide recommendations to senior management.
- Forecasting & Finance Management
- Assist in developing resource and revenue forecasting models to support strategic planning and financial oversight.
- Work closely with finance teams to align forecasting with broader business goals.
- Support the finance team in managing month-end processes, including client reporting, billing, and follow-up on aged receivables.
- Business Skills
- Support senior leadership by providing insights and recommendations on resource planning and operational strategies.
- Prepare high-quality reporting materials for senior stakeholders to support client engagement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and drive organisational change.
- Administrative Tasks
- Manage CLM documentation, case studies, timesheet submissions, and stakeholder collaboration across Finance, IT, HR, and Business Lines.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience in a business management, operations, or project support role, ideally within financial services or professional services.
- Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent Excel skills, including the ability to create reports using macros, pivot tables, and data modelling.
- Strong analytical and data visualisation skills, including experience with Power BI or similar tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to multitask, manage, and prioritise workload with a high degree of accountability.
- A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a willingness to roll up your sleeves in a fast-paced environment.
