This is an exciting opportunity to join Delta Capita’s fast-growing Consulting business, supporting complex transformation and delivery programmes within financial services. Working as part of a high-performing delivery team, the Junior Business Analyst plays a key role in translating business needs into structured, actionable outputs that enable efficient build and delivery. Embedded within a multidisciplinary team, you will help bring clarity, structure, and consistency to requirements, ensuring delivery teams are set up for success. This role offers excellent exposure to end-to-end change delivery, stakeholder engagement, and modern delivery environments, with strong opportunities for learning and progression.
Key responsibilities
- Capture, analyse, and refine business requirements, ensuring clarity, completeness, and alignment to delivery objectives
- Translate stakeholder needs into high-quality artefacts including user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows
- Maintain and govern the team backlog in Jira, ensuring consistency, traceability, and readiness for development
- Support and document workshops, walkthroughs, and stakeholder interactions
- Act as a key coordination point across business, technology, and third-party stakeholders, tracking dependencies and open items
- Ensure documentation is maintained to a high standard, supporting both delivery and audit requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement in ways of working, documentation standards, and team efficiency
Essential skills and experience
- Foundational Business Analysis skillset, including requirements gathering, user stories, and process mapping
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, structured, and professional documentation
- Experience using Jira and Confluence (or similar tools) in a delivery environment
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proactive mindset, with a willingness to take ownership and follow through on actions
Desirable
- Exposure to financial services or regulated environments
- Experience working within consulting, delivery, or change programmes
- Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies
- Experience supporting low-code/no-code development environments
