This is a fantastic opportunity to join our fast-growing Consulting Business working with some of the world’s leading financial institutions. As an experienced Data Governance Programme Manager you will lead a large scale data governance programme within financial services. This is an onsite role and will act as the overall programme lead, working closely with senior stakeholders and technical delivery teams. The programme covers enterprise‑scale financial data sets, including data rebalancing initiatives, with teams operating across both strategic and delivery workstreams. You’ll need to be confident operating at a senior level while remaining hands‑on with day‑to‑day delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Owning and driving an end‑to‑end data governance programme
- Leading cross‑functional teams managing large‑scale financial data
- Translating data governance strategy into executable delivery plans
- Engaging deeply with technical teams and senior stakeholders
- Oversight of project financials, forecasting, and budget management
Skills Required
- Proven experience as a Programme Manager or Senior Delivery Lead within data‑led initiatives
- Strong data governance and/or data strategy background
- Technical credibility able to have in‑depth conversations with engineers and architects
- Hands‑on experience working with platforms such as Snowflake and/or Solidatus
- Background in financial services, ideally within a market infrastructure or regulated environment
- Comfortable being hands‑on where needed, not just operating at steering‑committee level
