This is a fantastic opportunity to join our fast-growing Consulting Business working with some of the world’s leading financial institutions. As a Consultant, the successful candidate will work directly with our clients to ensure they receive the quality consulting services that Delta Capita (DC) offers. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of financial services, exceptional problem-solving skills, PMO, project management and/or business analysis experience, the ability to manage, motivate and inspire others, and a proven track record of delivering successful client engagements. You will have change management experience and prior success as a senior consultant or within a change role in a financial services institution.
Project responsibilities:
- Support Project Managers and Business Analysts, ensuring high quality delivery throughout the project lifecycle, working collaboratively and fostering an innovative work culture in line with DC’s values.
- Contribute to internal initiatives and support the development of consulting expertise.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing sessions, client events, thought leadership articles, whitepapers, presentations, and industry conferences.
- Propose ideas for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Identifying opportunities to enhance existing processes to optimise efficiency and develop DC IP.
Required qualifications:
- Proven consulting experience or alternatively in PMO, Project Management or Business Analysis within financial services.
- Change management experience: strategy, design, analysis, project management, build testing, go-live.
- Understanding of financial services products and lifecycle events.
- Some experience supporting successful project/programme deliveries.
- Good knowledge of the capital markets ecosystem and participants (sell side, buy side, market infrastructure, etc.).
- Background as a management consultant or within a change role in a financial services institution, with a blend of financial services knowledge and soft skills across influence, listening, presentation and team management.
- Comfortable working independently and managing own workload with support of a manager.
Additional desirable skills:
- Experience working in financial services regulation.
- Experience working in an agile environment with Agile certifications.
- Experience working across technology and system upgrades.
This is a permanent full-time position located in London. A valid working permit for the UK is mandatory.
Expectations regarding hybrid working:
As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy for physically working from the office aligns with what our clients’ policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our clients now require a minimum of three days per week in the office, two days from home, and accordingly this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita require.
