Role Summary
PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT – London – Permanent
This role is an exciting opportunity to join our fast‑growing consulting business, working with leading financial institutions. As a Principal Consultant, you will act as the primary point of contact between the client and Delta Capita (DC), leading delivery and ensuring high‑quality consulting services.
Responsibilities
- Own account and project delivery for clients.
- Manage a team of consultants, ensuring high delivery quality.
- Propose ideas for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Manage pipeline for the team/direct reports, including rolls‑offs, extensions, new opportunities and pricing.
- Draft and negotiate statements of work, including rates and pricing.
- Contribute to internal initiatives and drive consulting expertise.
- Articulate the value of products, solutions and teams to clients.
Qualifications
- Deep experience in change management and a proven track record as a Principal Consultant or a change role in a financial services institution.
- Strong commercial awareness and excellent delivery across client and internal deliverables.
- Demonstrated leadership capability with a people‑management focus and experience managing project and business‑analysis teams.
- Proven experience in project management, business analysis, and end‑to‑end engagement delivery within financial services.
- Excellence in continuous improvement, operational excellence, and consulting best practices.
- Knowledge of the capital‑markets ecosystem, including sell‑side, buy‑side and market infrastructure.
- Experience in technology implementation and upgrade projects.
- Commercial acumen in leveraging client relationships.
