Role Overview: The Business Analyst will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, gathering requirements and ensuring successful delivery of platform enhancements and migrations within securities finance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Elicit, document, and validate business requirements for platform upgrades and implementations.
- Analyse current workflows and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.
- Support configuration of modules for inventory management, allocation engines, and lifecycle processing.
- Collaborate on integration with trading and post-trade systems, as well as reporting frameworks.
- Assist in testing, data validation, and migration activities.
- Provide subject matter expertise on securities finance processes and compliance requirements.
Required Experience
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of securities lending, fully paid lending programs, and client asset lending operations.
- Technical Acumen: Familiarity with platform configuration, static data handling, and connectivity protocols (e.g., SFTP, SWIFT).
- Lifecycle Management: Knowledge of trade capture, collateral management, and downstream settlement processes.
- Reporting & Analytics: Experience with automated reporting tools and exposure management.
- Compliance Awareness: Understanding of compliance and regulatory guidelines for securities finance programs.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
