As part of the day-to-day role within the clients Compliance team, the primary function is to take on most of the volumes of marketing material that are submitted by various product management, client relationship, and sales teams. These are submitted for content and jurisdictional reviews which means ensuring anything that the client distributes externally is compliant with the various regulating bodies within the EMEA region. The team is required to control the pipeline of marketing materials and to allocate the work throughout the team to ensure volumes are completed within prescribed timeframes as well as minimising the volumes being given to those with less capacity. Queries sent through to the marketing distro are also expected to be addressed or diverted to relevant team members as needed.

This is a great opportunity to join our fast-growing business within our CLM department working with some of the world’s leading financial institutions. The preferred candidate will demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit with a ‘hands on’ pragmatic and flexible approach as we develop this fast-growing business area.

Job requirements

  • Critical eye for detail to ensure material being distributed is appropriate for the audience and to the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Effective communication, both internally within the team when allocating workload, as well as with the relevant business teams to manage expectations.
  • Ability to think independently, to navigate guidelines as given and make clear decisions when advising the business on how to ensure materials are compliant.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to not only identify when risk appetite boundaries have been crossed but also be able to give advice on potential solutions to lower the risk.

This is a fixed term contract located in Birmingham. As the selection and interview process is ongoing, please submit your application in English as soon as possible. If your profile is selected, a member of our team will contact you within 4 weeks. For this role, a valid working permit for the UK is mandatory.

Expectations regarding hybrid working: As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy for physically working from the office (which may be the client’s office or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our clients’ policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our clients now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office; however, some of our clients have now moved up to 5 days in the office and we require candidates to be flexible to meet our client demands.
