This graduate position sits within Private Operations, supporting the operational infrastructure that underpins a leading global private markets investment platform. You will work directly with senior operations leaders to drive strategic initiatives, manage cross-functional programmes, and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of a complex, international business.

The role offers broad exposure to private alternatives including private equity, private credit, infrastructure, real estate, and growth equity and is well suited to candidates who combine strong analytical capability with structured thinking and a high degree of ownership. It also presents a strong opportunity to join a fast-growing area within the Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) function, working closely with some of the world’s leading financial institutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset, along with a hands-on, pragmatic, and flexible approach as the business continues to scale.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the Chief of Staff team in managing operating cadence, including business reviews, leadership forums, and enterprise-wide reporting.
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and track progress against strategic priorities, escalating risks and blockers where needed.
  • Prepare high-quality materials — presentations, memos, and data analysis — for internal leadership, investment committees, and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with headcount planning, budget tracking, and resource allocation across the Private Operations function.
  • Partner with teams across Operations, Technology, Legal, Compliance, and Finance on transformation and regulatory initiatives.
  • Maintain and enhance operational dashboards, KPI frameworks, and management reporting.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support strategic decision-making on operating model design and efficiency.
  • Provide broader Chief of Staff support, including managing correspondence, scheduling, and workflow for senior leaders.

Qualifications & experience required

  • Bachelor's degree (any discipline) graduating 2024 or 2025, with a strong academic record.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Proven ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Preferred

  • Internship or placement experience in financial services, asset management, consulting, or a similar environment.
  • Exposure to private markets, alternatives, or fund operations.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI) or project management platforms.
  • Basic understanding of fund structures, NAV calculations, or investor reporting.
