Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer (AI/ML) to join a global team responsible for modernizing architecture and replacing legacy systems with microservices. This platform collects and processes data from multiple sources to meet regulatory and risk requirements, while leveraging AI/ML capabilities to enhance automation, insights, and decisionâmaking.
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver productionâready code and contribute to system architecture aligned with a microservice structure.
- Design and implement AI/MLâdriven features, including data pipelines, model integration, and inference services.
- Drive faster delivery of reliable code across the team, leading by example.
- Engage with business and engineering leadership to understand requirements and translate them into scalable AI/ML solutions.
- Propose innovative ideas for applying machine learning to improve data quality, risk assessment, and operational efficiency.
- Promote and lead a strong engineering culture within the team.
- Collaborate with a distributed global team across multiple regions.
- Identify and remove impediments, manage risks, and communicate issues to program management.
- Find and implement programmatic solutions to process inefficiencies.
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong experience in software engineering, including backend development and microservice architecture.
- Must have strong Java experience (latest versions preferred).
- Proficiency in RESTful API design, CI/CD practices, and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).
- Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and deploying ML models at scale.
- Experience building data pipelines and integrating ML into production systems.
- Frontend development experience with ReactJS.
- Background in regulated industries (e.g., finance) is a plus.

Expectations regarding hybrid working
As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy for physically working from the office (which may be the clientâs offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our clientâs policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our clientâs now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita require.
