Role Overview

We are looking for a Junior Developer to join a global team modernising architecture and building microservices for a leading financial services client. The platform processes data from multiple sources to meet regulatory and risk requirements.

What You'll Do

  • Contribute to developing and maintaining microservices and full-stack applications.
  • Assist in integrating AI/ML models into production systems and building data pipelines.
  • Write clean, efficient code and participate in code reviews.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to implement RESTful APIs and CI/CD practices.
  • Work with global teams to deliver features and resolve issues.
  • Support troubleshooting and performance improvements.

What We're Looking For

  • Solid foundation in software engineering and backend development.
  • Experience with Java (latest versions preferred).
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).
  • Basic understanding of containers (Docker) and cloud platforms.
  • Understanding or exposure to AI/ML concepts and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Frontend development experience with ReactJS or similar frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
