This is a fantastic opportunity to join our fast-growing Consulting Business working with some of the world's leading financial institutions. The successful candidate will work directly with our clients to ensure they receive the quality consulting services that Delta Capita (DC) offers. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of financial services, exceptional problem-solving skills, project management and/or business analysis experience, the ability to manage, motivate and inspire others, and a proven track record of delivering successful client engagements. You will have change management experience and prior success as a senior consultant or within a change role in a financial services institution.
The Role and Responsibilities
- This role is ideal for someone with the right mix of consulting and client management experience as well as having an entrepreneurial spirit.
- You will combine project delivery know-how, a can-do attitude, and a strong knowledge of and network within the financial services industry.
- Management of client relationships, building and maintaining strong relationships with key project stakeholders and client accounts.
- Act as a trusted advisor, demonstrating an understanding of their evolving needs, proactively identifying new opportunities for collaboration within Consulting and across the broader firm.
- Support Project Managers and Business Analysts, ensuring high quality delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to more junior consultants, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Lead by example, promoting a collaborative and innovative work culture in line with DC's values.
- Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams and Consulting leadership to support the development of campaigns, respond to RFPs, and contribute to the growth of DC's Consulting practice.
- Contribute to internal initiatives and support the development of consulting expertise.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing sessions, client events, thought leadership articles, whitepapers, presentations, and industry conferences.
- Propose ideas for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Identifying opportunities to enhance existing processes to optimise efficiency and develop DC IP.
As an experienced Senior Consultant
- Proven Consulting experience or alternatively in Project Management or Business Analysis within Financial Services.
- Change management experience: Strategy, Design, Analysis, Project Management, Build Testing, Go Live.
- Understanding of Financial Services products and lifecycle events.
- Some experience managing small projects, supporting successful project/programme deliveries.
- Good knowledge of the capital markets ecosystem and participants.
- You will come from a management consultant background or within a change role in a financial services institution.
- You must have a blend of both Financial Services knowledge and soft skills across influence, listening, presentation and team management.
- You will be expected to be comfortable working on an independent basis and managing your own workload with minimal supervision.
- You will also be responsible for helping to grow our business by supporting ongoing operations and RFPs.
It would be great if you had knowledge of any of the following:
- Experience of working in financial services regulation.
- Experience of working in an agile environment with Agile certifications.
- Experience of working across technology and system upgrades.

Expectations regarding hybrid working
As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy for physically working from the office aligns to what our clients' policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our clients now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita require.
